Plumbing Update

So, we didn't exactly wield our shovels and find our leak. We tried, really we did. Then, we had a freak snow storm. Yes, it is the middle of April. Apparently this hasn't happened in Seattle in April since 1972. It's hard to find a leak when snow and hail are covering the ground. OK, we didn't really try that hard. We're officially blaming the weather, but were both able to run 10 miles in said weather without a problem. We've never really been good at or dedicated to home maintenance.

I caved in and hired a Leak Detection company. I had no idea these kinds of companies existed. Against ALL my better judgment, I hired the the original plumber (see previous post) to come fix the leak after it has been found. I really was dedicated to the idea of boycotting plumbers. Until I actually held a shovel in my hand and realized I had no freaking clue what I was doing.

All of this exciting action commences tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

  2. We had to hire a plumber a few weeks back when Tan flushed a Pablo Backyardigan down the toilet. Thanks Tan, that money is coming out of your college fund.
