I love you, Tina Fey

I'm copying some other blogs that have embedded this clip. But, I can't stop laughing every SINGLE time I watch it. Whatever your politics, you must recognize the importance of satire in our society.

The presence of satire actually means we are free.

You know, when you're free to ridicule something, it can't manipulate you.

Or, maybe it's just really fun to make fun of people.

  4. Hillary: "I have extensive foreign policy experience..."

Palin: "...and I can see Russia from my house!"

    Priceless. :-)

  5. I LOVE SARAH PALIN! Seriously, this video was hiarious, and the best thing is, according to her in an interview last night, she thought it was hilarious too. My favorite line was Hilary saying to the press " Quit saying I have kankles."

  6. It is hilarious! I was too tired to see it live, so taped it and watched it first thing the next morning before leaving for my run. Luckily I have some running partners that are like-minded politically and we have been able to have a great laugh together over something that in reality is far from funny.Tina Fey NAILED it! Thank you Tina! And thank you Jodie for sharing.

  7. Of course Sarah Palin would think the skit was hilarious. That's because as she admits, she had the volume turned way down and didn't hear a word of it. That IS the best!

  9. Jodie...

This is serious business. I too admire and adore Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Let me ramble on a bit why I love them soo much...

Nobody, not even me, can carry off the black rimmed specs as well as Tina...except maybe Alex Howerton, she's a tina fey in the making, but better!!

Also, I admire their impeccable tact as outfront, intelligently humorous women. They never throw feminism or rudeness in your face, they just do what they do, with poise and raw-raunchiness and grace.

I feel a prophetic-ness comin' on that OCC pastoress'es are the future SNL ladies of the christian world! watch out America! ok. im through. thank you for making me laugh today. love u jodie. :)
