The Last Month in Pictures....

(left) Caleb with his teacher, the wonderful Mrs. Underwood, and buddies, Ronan and Chase at the Mother's Day Tea. We played the Hokey Pokey, it was pretty sweet.

(right) Caleb's 6th birthday party, Speed Racer themed. Twenty 6 year olds. That's all I'll say.

Caleb and Alex sitting at the Principal's desk at their school! We bid on and won the "Principal for a Day" item at our school's silent auction.  I'm not going to tell you how much we paid. Suffice it say that Caleb was in the bidding war until the death, willing to sacrifice life, limb and even allowance to win. It got so competitive, I'm pretty sure some families aren't speaking to me.

They got to spend the whole day with the principal, helping enforce discipline, making announcements over the PA. They even officially added 5 minutes to recess for every class. Their favorite part was getting a tour of the inner bowels of the institution, places off limits to regular students. They saw the boiler room, the electrical room, the loft over the library, the kitchen. They took suggestions from other students about how to improve the school. The top two were "no math tests" and "root beer floats everyday."

My cousin Matt's wedding in Baltimore. (left to right, sister Becky, sister Jamie, me, cousin Susan, sister Andi, sister Tracy)
My only sis not pictured is Kelly, due to drop a baby any moment in California.

  1. How fun for Caleb and Alex to play principle for a day! A day to remember, I'm sure!
